Grounded in Experience. Focused on the Future.

Strata Co Boreholes & Water Systems Ltd is a Cotswolds-based specialist helping homeowners, farms, country estates, equestrian properties and businesses understand, improve and manage their private water supplies.

Based near Moreton-in-Marsh, we provide borehole testing and recommissioning, pump installation, irrigation design, water testing, filtration, servicing and practical technical advice across the Cotswolds and surrounding areas.

Led by director Joshua Webb, Strata Co is built on more than 12 years of hands-on industry experience. Joshua’s experience includes involvement in the drilling and delivery of boreholes across the United Kingdom, working with different ground conditions, properties and water requirements.

A Clearer Way to Deliver Water Projects

Boreholes and water systems can appear complicated. Our role is to make the process clear.

We begin by understanding the site, the intended use of the water and the outcome the client wants to achieve. We then assess the practical requirements, explain the available options and set out the recommended next steps.

Where additional expertise, testing or specialist services are required, we coordinate the appropriate professionals and suppliers as part of the wider project.

Our approach is built around:

Honest Advice
We provide practical guidance based on the information available and never make unrealistic promises about groundwater, yield or water quality.

Careful Planning

We consider access, geology, water demand, equipment, treatment and long-term operation before recommending a system.

Clear Communication

We explain the process in straightforward language and keep clients informed throughout each stage.

Long-Term Thinking

We design and recommend systems with reliability, maintenance and future requirements in mind—not simply the quickest short-term solution.

Why Water Matters

Demand for dependable water supplies continues to increase.

Rising mains-water costs, changing weather patterns and greater pressure on existing resources are encouraging homeowners, farms, estates and businesses to consider how water can be managed more efficiently.

A properly assessed and professionally delivered borehole or irrigation system can provide greater resilience, reduce dependence on mains water and make better use of one of a property’s most important natural resources.

Our mission is to help clients understand those opportunities and turn them into practical, responsible and reliable water solutions.

Built on Trust

Work involving land, groundwater and essential infrastructure requires trust.

Clients need to know that the advice they receive is considered, that potential risks will be explained and that the people managing their project understand what happens below ground as well as above it.

Our reputation is built through the quality of our advice, the care taken in planning and the standard of the completed work. We want every client to feel confident about the decisions being made and supported throughout the process.

Who We Work With

We support a wide range of clients, including:

  • Homeowners and private landowners

  • Farms and agricultural businesses

  • Country estates and equestrian properties

  • Landscapers and irrigation specialists

  • Developers and construction companies

  • Commercial and industrial organisations

  • Architects, consultants and property professionals

Projects vary considerably in scale, but every enquiry receives the same careful assessment and professional attention.

Experience Beneath the Surface

Successful borehole and water-system projects begin long before any work starts on site.

Our industry experience has been developed through involvement in borehole projects nationwide, working across a wide range of ground conditions, properties and project requirements. That experience allows us to identify potential challenges early, explain the available options clearly and recommend a practical route forward.

Every site is different. Ground conditions, geology, access, water demand and intended use can all influence the design and viability of a system. We therefore approach every enquiry individually rather than offering a standard solution that may not be right for the property.

Complete Water Solutions

Our work covers more than the borehole itself. We consider how water will be sourced, tested, stored, treated and delivered to where it is required.

Our services include:

Whether the requirement is garden irrigation, agricultural supply, estate water management, commercial use or a private domestic system, we can guide the project from its earliest stage through to a dependable working solution.
